LSHS Alumni & Friends Golf Tournament

Each year the LSHS Athletic Booster Club Board gives scholarships to eight senior athletes – four women and four men. 

Each scholarship recipient receives $1,000. 

To be considered for a scholarship, the Senior athlete must be a member in good standing with the LSHS Athletic Booster Club, have lettered in the same sport for at least two years or lettered in 2 different sports, have a cumulative GPA of 2.0, complete an application including a coach’s evaluation, and plan to attend a public/private college or vocational school in the summer/fall of the following semester. 

In addition to our annual scholarship gifts, we also provide funds to support coach requests and other school related investments.

To help raise funds for scholarships, coach requests, and other activities the Lee’s Summit High School Athletic Booster Club hosts a LSHS Alumni & Friends Golf Tournament at Shamrock Hill Golf Course right here in Lee’s Summit.

This fundraising event allows us to raise and donate funds directly to our Lee’s Summit students. After the success of our first event, we have committed to making this an annual event that keeps our student-athletes involved with LSHS for years to come.
